WELCOME
I'm so glad you joined me! I have wanted to share my personal experiences, challenges, creative ideas, quirks and "aha" moments for a long time. It's not that I am special or my experiences are extraordinary but because I have learned to move forward in my life and to enjoy my life because of them. I am an ordinary woman saved by God's grace with the hope and desire of encouraging, giving insight and helping others realize that being yourself is more than okay. If I can relate to just one person or help one person with my thoughts and words, then it is worth it to me.
"View from My Window" was born in my heart several years ago but I was too fearful to open myself up to others and too intimidated by the many excellent bloggers out there that have it altogether! But the desire to create this blog would not go away. So I am taking a leap of faith in creating and sharing "View from My Window."
The title, "View from My Window," is namely that . . . a view from MY window. What I am sharing is solely my own personal experiences and understanding or the influence of others in my life. More times than not, it won't necessarily be how you see things and that is ok. We have all been created individually and we need to celebrate that. If what I share coincides with how you see things or if what I share brings new light to something, then I have done what I set out to do. I do not come to you as an expert but as a woman that has been granted grace from her heavenly Father to share and give back.
